The little ghost is now haunting picture books!
Susanne Preußler-Bitsch – Otfried Preußler's daughter – has made up a wonderful new story about the little ghost based on the much-loved children's book classic and she has hit the warm, affectionate narrative tone so typical of her father.
As every night on the dot of the witching hour, the little ghost wakes up in Owl Stone Castle. He discovers something exciting: everything in the castle museum has been newly arranged. The little ghost gives everything in the museum a very close examination. He is not at all bothered by the fact that he doesn't put anything back in its proper place. On the contrary – changing everything round is huge fun! When castle caretaker Finsterwalder comes to the museum the next day, he can scarcely believe his eyes. What a mess! He has already been suspecting for a long time that there must be a ghost getting up to mischief in the castle, and so he decides to drive it away. But the little ghost is not going to let anyone get the better of him that easily …
