In a Nutshell:
Sock does not feel like playing with the little duck. He gets rid of her with a trick, but the duck lands directly in Eddy Bear’s arms – and in his heart. The two get on splendidly and they do not need the little raven anymore as a friend. Now Sock must win back his best friend. Wool, Spoon and Sandwich give good advice: he should praise Eddy, give him a gift, show him he’s there for him. Not so easy for the little raven and with just one sentence it all goes wrong…
But true friendship cannot be destroyed by misunderstandings and in any case, the little raven Sock always has a firm place in Eddy Bear’s big heart.
The little raven is irritated, the duck wants to play with him all the time, but he is not in the mood. He finally gets rid of her with a trick – and the duck lands right in Eddy Bear’s strong arms and in his heart. What has happened? Eddy Bear and the little duck get on wonderfully from the word go, do everything together, are each other’s one and only and they do not need the little raven anymore as a friend. Sock withdraws rebuffed to his nest and complains that he is the loneliest bird in the whole wide world. But the little raven would not be the little raven if he did not seek a solution to his problem and straight away. Spoon, Sandwich, the wolf and even Mrs. Badger have good advice about how Sock can win his friend Eddy Bear back: he should praise him, give him a gift, share with him, help him, show him he’s there for him… Not so easy for the little raven, but he is determined to try – and it promptly all goes wrong. After uttering just one sentence he ruins it all and now believes everything is lost for good. However, true friendship cannot be destroyed by such misunderstandings, all his friends prove that at the end. Even Eddy Bear, in whose big heart the little raven Sock will always have a firm place.
