The story of the little dormouse who was not at all afraid of the dark

The little dormouse has packed his cosy blanket because he wants to sleep outdoors tonight. He answers with no in disgust when his mum asks whether he is not afraid of the dark. But then, alone in his tent, the little dormouse does feel a little uneasy. Luckily his friends the hazel dormouse, the little wolf and the hare come by and keep him company. They would never admit that they are also a little afraid of the dark, but they all have some advice for the little dormouse about how to quickly dispel the fear. The animals’ courage is rewarded: when the clouds disperse, a wonderful starry sky extends above them and the friends discover: darkness can be beautiful!
