The world in Die Rüpelschule (The School for Louts) by Michael Ende and Volker Fredrich is all topsy-turvy. You get good marks for eating noisily, being dirty and untidy, for screaming, playing rough games and going wild. If you're a goody-goody you have to repeat the class. The teacher is really pleased with his pupils when they play him up good and proper. All the children who can't go to the School for Louts will have a lot of fun with this unusual book of manners and its amusing illustrations.
