The Robber Hotzenplotz and the Moon Rocket

In a Nutshell:

Constable Dimpfelmoser is breaking out into a sweat. The reason for this is that the notorious Robber Hotzenplotz has broken out of jail again. This is a disaster! Because everyone knows: Robber Hotzenplotz is the most dangerous robber in the whole of the region. Seppel and Kasperl are determined to help capture the robber again – and they have a marvellous idea. They want to shoot him to the moon once and for all! They make a moon rocket out of a cardboard pipe and a potato sack. Robber Hotzenplotz is bound to fall for it, isn’t he?

Synopsis:

Constable Dimpfelmoser is breaking out in a sweat. The reason is: the notorious Robber Hotzenplotz has broken out of jail again. This is a disaster! Seppel and Kasperl are determined to capture him again. The two of them have a great idea: they want to shoot Robber Hotzenplotz to the moon once and for all! Together they make a moon rocket out of a cardboard pipe and a potato sack. Robber Hotzenplotz is bound to fall for it. In the meantime, Robber Hotzenplotz takes up his usual place behind the gorse bush in the forest. Suddenly Kasperl and Seppel come along and are arguing loudly about which of them may fly to the moon – where there is allegedly a lot of silver. Of course, Robber Hotzenplotz pricks up his ears. If anyone here may fly to the moon, then surely only himself! He also makes this clear to Kasperl and Seppel and allows them to put him in the potato sack space costume. And then he gets into the moon rocket, ready for lift-off. Now all Kasperl and Seppel need to do is take Robber Hotzenplotz to the launching pad. That is what they claim, anyway. In reality, they drag the moon rocket with Hotzenplotz directly to the police station. Goodness gracious, the constable Dimpfelmoser can scarcely believe it! Kasperl and Seppel have indeed captured Robber Hotzenplotz again thanks to their deviousness.
